Coaching is a process by which the ECS consultant engages in dialogue with an employee for the desired result of increased individual effectiveness.
The coaching relationship evolves from establishing a purpose for the coaching, outlining the expectations and quantifying the desired outcomes. The coaching process begins with establishing a time frame and method to achieve the most effective result.
The coaching process is focused on the professional development of the individual and can address areas of development in both the business and personal arenas. Often a busy executive has little time for personal evaluation or reflection. The ECS coach facilitates the process by helping to ensure the individual achieves a better understanding of themselves, their goals, their fears, and the impact they have on the professional world around them.
